About the Gizmo: Limited Edition Drops

Gizmo lets you run limited edition drops and fixed-run products with one total inventory limit across all variants. Instead of splitting a 200-unit run across each variant before you know what sells, set one number and every variant draws from the same inventory pool. The app counts units from real orders, not Shopify stock, so your cap holds during high-traffic drops even when inventory is untracked. When the limit is hit, the product automatically locks and shows sold out. Choose from three limit types: total quantity, time window, or daily auto-reset. Perfect for limited drops, made-to-order products, production batches, and rentals with duration variants. The system enforces limits at cart, checkout, and payment for three-layer protection. You can also set order limits to prevent one buyer from clearing your entire product run.
