About the Levy: Surcharge, Fees & Tariff
Levy helps you add mandatory fees like EU import duty, tariffs, and Pfand to your store. Set up customs duty for low-value parcels, handling fees, or deposit charges that buyers need to see before checkout.
The app adds fees to specific product lines based on the countries, order values, collections, tags, or product types you choose. Customers see these fees on the product page before adding items to cart, so there are no surprises at checkout.
Each fee appears as its own line on the order with a separate amount. Levy works with all checkout types, including Buy it now and express checkouts. The app includes presets for EU parcel duty, EU handling fee, Pfand, and tariffs to get you started quickly.
Remember, Levy is a tool for collecting mandatory fees, not tax advice—you decide what to collect based on your requirements.
