About the Kompress
Kompress makes your product photos lighter and faster without losing quality. It converts images to WebP format and swaps them in place automatically, keeping your image order, featured images, and variant images exactly as you set them. Your original files stay safely backed up in Files. The AI Alt Writer describes each product photo and writes alt text you can review and apply in bulk. Turn on Autopilot to compress images on new products automatically. Speed Lab runs Lighthouse tests so you can track your page performance and store speed over time.
