About the Instant Site Search

Instant Site Search delivers fast product search results as shoppers type, displaying matching items in a dropdown under your search box. The app indexes your entire catalog immediately at install, so search functionality works right away without any delays. This search solution never requests theme write access to your store files. Instead, it uses a theme app extension that you control and place yourself, keeping your theme code clean and secure. The search is typo tolerant and accent aware—searches for "shose" will find shoes, and "cafe" matches "café" automatically. When searches come up empty, you'll get reports showing what shoppers looked for but couldn't find. You can then add synonyms to connect the words customers actually use with your products, ensuring future shoppers find what they need. Perfect for stores wanting reliable, instant search without theme modifications.
