About the Velora: Audit & Alt Text
Velora helps you find and fix missing image alt text on your Shopify store. The app drafts English alt text from your product images using AI, then lets you review each suggestion before applying changes. You can update up to 10 images at once in batches, making it easier to improve your store's accessibility.
The app keeps a history of 200 changes with previous text, so you can undo edits without affecting newer updates. Export your change history as CSV files for your records. Browse through your product catalog with pagination to systematically review all images.
Run accessibility checks on up to 8 storefront pages, including password-protected stores, and save the last 10 reports for reference. Every AI-generated alt text draft requires your review before going live. Note that automated checks don't guarantee full WCAG conformance, but they help you identify and address missing image descriptions across your store.
