About the Hexloom Tax Exempt
Hexloom Tax Exempt helps wholesale buyers upload their resale or status-card certificates directly on a page that matches your store theme. You review each certificate in a simple queue where you can approve, reject, or revoke exemptions. Once approved, the app sets Shopify's built-in tax exemption for US states, BC, MB, and SK resale certificates, plus Canadian status-card and diplomat certificates. For other certificate types, you'll confirm a full exemption first. The exemption applies automatically when buyers sign in. Buyers receive email notifications on approval, rejection, and 30 days before their certificate expires. The app removes exemptions on expiry dates and stores all files encrypted. Perfect for US and Canadian stores managing tax-exempt wholesale customers. You determine what's valid—this isn't tax advice.
