About the Giftproof: Free Gift Auto Add

This app lets you run a free gift with purchase promotion by setting a minimum spend threshold. When a customer's cart reaches your chosen amount, the gift product is automatically added and made free through Shopify's discount system. If the cart total drops below the minimum, the gift is removed automatically. You can set up multiple gifts, each with its own minimum spend requirement, product selection, and active dates. The app shows shoppers a progress message telling them how much more they need to spend to unlock the gift, then displays your custom unlocked message once they qualify. Spend calculations count after discounts are applied by default, and you can exclude sale items from the total. The app includes a cart tester and diagnostics tools so you can verify your setup works correctly before customers see it. Out-of-stock gifts won't be added to carts. A checkout verification prompts shoppers to remove the gift if they try to purchase it without meeting the minimum spend.
