About the EU Legal Guarantee & GARAN
This app helps online shops comply with the EU legal guarantee requirements coming into effect on 27 September 2026. It displays the official EU legal guarantee notice and GARAN label artwork in all 24 official languages, automatically matched to your shop's language.
Installation takes just minutes using drag and drop in the theme editor – no coding needed. The GARAN label appears only for producer guarantees exceeding two years, with duration, brand, and model details pulled from product metafields. You can set guarantee duration per product or per brand, and exclude specific products when needed.
The app uses the European Commission's original, unaltered artwork as required by the EmpCo Directive. It runs without JavaScript, requires no API scopes, collects no customer data, and doesn't track users. Note that this app provides technical implementation only and does not constitute legal advice.
