About the Barcoder: Price Embedded Scan
Requires Shopify Plus. This POS app reads scale labels with embedded amounts or weights directly at checkout. Open the EmbBarcoder tile in POS, scan a barcode using your connected scanner, device camera, or manual entry, and the app automatically finds the matching product by SKU or barcode. It calculates the item total based on the encoded weight or price and adds it to your cart. The tile closes automatically so you can continue the sale without interruption. Choose from six ready-made templates or create custom label mappings using colored digits. Supports UPC-A and EAN-13 formats with lb, kg, and 100g weight units. Perfect for stores selling products by weight. Development stores available for testing. Note: POS cart adjustments have limited platform support, so verify final checkout amounts on your device.
