About the ECGT EU Warranty & GARAN

This app displays the mandatory EU legal guarantee notice on product pages for European consumers, required by Directive (EU) 2024/825 from 27 September 2026. It shows the official Commission artwork in colour, automatically translated into the shopper's language using the fixed EU template without paraphrasing. When producers offer a free guarantee covering the entire product for more than two years, the GARAN durability label appears on qualifying items. The app also helps audit your product catalogue for green claims that may become unlawful under the new regulations, ensuring your store stays compliant with EU consumer protection requirements.
