About the Easy AI Act Image Labels
This app automatically detects AI-generated images in your Shopify store and helps you comply with EU AI Act Article 50 requirements. Starting August 2, 2026, AI images that look like real photos must display visible labels.
The app scans your products, collections, blogs, and theme sections to identify AI images using provenance data (C2PA, IPTC). You can add official EU AI labels with one click or enable automatic labeling for new images checked daily.
Customize where and how labels appear by adjusting size, position, and display pages. Labels automatically adapt to 24 EU languages based on your store's language settings. Your original images, products, and theme remain completely unchanged throughout the process.
Launched: October 6, 2026
