About the Dropwell: Customer File Upload
Dropwell lets customers upload photos, artwork, PDFs and design files directly on product pages before they buy. The upload field integrates with your theme editor in just a few clicks, making it simple to collect customer files for personalized products or custom orders.
Files are automatically stored in Shopify Files, with links appearing on orders and confirmation emails for easy access. You can set uploads as optional or required, limit file types and sizes, and restrict the number of files customers can submit. The photo cropping feature lets you specify shapes and minimum dimensions to ensure sharp, high-quality prints.
Control which products show the upload field using product tags. Unordered files are cleaned up automatically, keeping your storage organized. All uploaded files are accessible from a dedicated Uploads page, making order fulfillment straightforward for products that need customer-provided artwork or documents.
