Doorman verifies shopper age before purchase to help merchants comply with age-restricted product regulations. The app uses photo age estimation technology that analyzes a single image without storing it, protecting customer privacy. When results are uncertain, it can request an identity document for verification. Checkout is blocked without a valid age check, even if shoppers close the verification window. A typed date of birth option is available only where required by state law in Illinois and Texas. Every verification decision is logged for compliance purposes, with exportable records.
