Depozy lets you accept pre-orders and made-to-order products by collecting a deposit at checkout. Customers pay a portion of the price upfront, and the balance is automatically charged to the same card later—when the order ships, on a specific date, or after a set number of days. This pre-order deposit tool works within a single Shopify order, so your accounting and fulfillment processes stay intact. Set deposits as a percentage or fixed amount, with taxes and shipping charged when the balance is due. The app handles failed payments with automatic retries and sends payment links to customers. You can also offer zero-upfront pre-orders or non-refundable deposits. Balances are collected even months later, and there's no revenue sharing—just a flat monthly fee. No credit checks or interest involved, making it simple for both you and your customers.
