About the DateLock

DateLock adds a delivery date picker or pickup date selector to your checkout, requiring customers to choose a date before completing their order. Perfect for bakeries, florists, meal kit services, and local delivery businesses that need date-sensitive order management. The app enforces delivery dates server-side, so they're captured on all checkout types including Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, and express checkouts. Every selected date saves directly to the order, making it easy for your fulfillment team to filter and plan deliveries. Set daily cutoff times, preparation days, and blackout dates to control when customers can schedule orders. DateLock installs as a theme app embed without editing any theme code, so your checkout continues working normally even if issues occur. Uninstalling is clean with nothing left behind in your cart or theme files.
