About the Consent Guard
Consent Guard adds a cookie consent banner to your Shopify store without any coding. Install the app and enable it with one toggle in your theme editor's App embeds. Visitors see a clean banner offering two choices: accept all cookies or essential only.
Every element is customizable—edit text, colors, and position in any language. Visitor choices are stored through Shopify's Customer Privacy API, ensuring consent-aware pixels respect their preferences. A first-party cookie remembers each visitor's choice, so the banner won't appear again.
The app includes a built-in tracker scanner that shows which trackers are running on your storefront, giving you full visibility into your site's tracking activity.
