CheckoutProof scans your Shopify store for legacy scripts that stopped working or will stop on March 1, 2027. Shopify shut off legacy Thank you and Order status pages, checkout ScriptTags, and the Additional scripts box on August 26, 2026 for non-Plus stores. All script tags stop March 1, 2027, with new ones blocked from October 1, 2026.
This app gives you a readiness score from 0-100, identifies which legacy scripts are still on your store, and shows you the approved replacement for each one—whether that's Web Pixels, Checkout UI Extensions, app embed blocks, or native integrations. It checks if your new Thank you and Order status pages are live, classifies ScriptTags by location, finds legacy trackers, and includes a guided manual checklist for surfaces no API can read.
