About the Bot Shield Suite

Bot Shield Suite detects and flags fake abandoned checkouts created by bots before they damage your email flows and analytics. The app scans every abandoned checkout and scores it based on signals like disposable email domains, random-looking addresses, and missing referrers. When a checkout looks bot-generated, it automatically tags the matching customer so you can filter them out. You get a dashboard that lists all flagged checkouts with clear reasons why each one was marked. The app includes segment recipes to exclude these fake contacts from Klaviyo and Mailchimp, protecting your sender reputation and keeping your email lists clean. Sensitivity is adjustable, but a bot verdict always requires hard signals to prevent false positives. One-click undo lets you reverse any flags if needed.
