About the CF Ready ‑ Codice Fiscale
CF Ready makes the Italian tax code (Codice Fiscale) and PEC required at checkout with formal validation before order completion. Shopify displays Italian tax fields but cannot validate them or make them mandatory. This app solves that problem without changing your theme or requiring Shopify Plus. It uses the tax fields already built into Shopify for Italy, so no extra fields are added. The validation rule applies only to Italian deliveries, ensuring foreign customers are never blocked. You can require Codice Fiscale alone or together with PEC. If the app encounters errors, checkout always remains open. Note that validation is formal only and does not verify if a tax code belongs to the person entering it.
