About the Blog Importer
Blog Importer makes it easy to migrate your blog content to Shopify. Simply drag and drop WordPress XML, Squarespace, or CSV files to import blog posts with all their essential elements including titles, body content, authors, tags, publish dates, and featured images.
The app automatically handles images used inside your posts by uploading external images and replacing image URLs in the article HTML. This ensures your blog posts look exactly as they should without broken image links.
Maintain your SEO rankings with automatic 301 URL redirects from old blog URLs to new Shopify blog URLs. You can also map custom metafields by syncing CSV headers with tags, authors, or meta fields.
Real-time progress tracking and detailed import logs show you which posts were successfully imported, skipped, or returned errors, giving you complete visibility throughout the migration process.
