About the Blockio Card Testing Blocker
Blockio Card Testing Blocker protects your Shopify store from card testing attacks by stopping bots before they reach your payment provider. Card testing happens when stolen card numbers are run through your checkout, creating declined payments and gateway fees for orders you never received.
The app scores each checkout attempt using device tracking, bot detection, velocity monitoring, and direct-checkout signals. It works inside Shopify's checkout system, covering Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and other express checkouts.
Choose from Monitor, Balanced, or Aggressive protection modes. Block traffic by country, IP address, ISP, or ASN. The app automatically blocks VPN and proxy traffic, and catches checkout links that bypass your storefront like cart permalinks. If Blockio becomes unreachable, your checkout continues working normally.
