About the AR Try‑on

AR Try-on lets shoppers see how sunglasses look on their own face in real time before adding to cart. Using face tracking technology, the app overlays a 3D model of your products onto the customer's live camera feed directly on the product page. No extra app install needed—shoppers simply use their device camera right on your site. All face tracking runs locally in the shopper's browser, so no photos or video are ever uploaded or stored. Merchants can map any product to a calibrated 3D model from the Shopify admin, and the try-on experience appears automatically wherever that product is shown. Frames render at true real-world scale, so the on-screen fit matches reality. The experience works seamlessly on the product page with no redirect or popup required.
