About the Altfield

Altfield automatically writes missing SEO titles, meta descriptions, and image alt text for your products. When you have hundreds or thousands of products with blank SEO fields, fixing them manually isn't practical. This app generates all the missing content from each product's description and can even read product photographs when descriptions are too thin. New products get filled in automatically as you add them, keeping your catalogue complete instead of falling out of date. The app also fills 11 product attributes and sets Shopify categories for better organization. You stay in control by reviewing every proposed change before anything is written. See the new content beside current values, then approve what works. If needed, revert an entire run with one click to restore previous values. All content Altfield writes stays in your store even if you uninstall, so you keep the SEO improvements permanently.

Launched: October 27, 2026
