About the Scalebased: Product AI
Scalebased uses AI to read your product images and text, then fills in missing product data like descriptions, material, color, product type and tags. Each AI suggestion appears next to your current value, and you only save what you approve to Shopify.
The app shows what each product lacks for EU product safety (GPSR) and Google Shopping requirements. It runs automatically on new and changed products, or you can select specific products to process. Review suggestions individually or approve them in bulk.
For supplier information, the AI reads supplier product pages and sends a short form for any remaining details—no account needed for suppliers. Scalebased collects and checks this product information to help you get products ready for compliance, though it doesn't provide legal advice.
