About the Fiscaly: verifica dati fiscali
Fiscaly helps merchants collect tax invoice data before customers reach checkout. The app displays a popup in the cart where customers choose between Business or Individual, then enter their fiscal details. It automatically verifies VAT numbers (Partite IVA) and Tax ID codes (Codice Fiscale/TIN) where supported, ensuring accurate information for invoicing.
All collected data is saved directly in order notes, making it simple to generate invoices later. The app supports both business and individual customers, including SDI codes for Italy and optional PEC email addresses.
Merchants have full control through the dashboard: set invoice requests as optional or mandatory, choose the default customer type, and manage verification limits. Fiscaly works with VAT/Partita IVA, Tax ID/Codice Fiscale, and SDI, helping Italian merchants comply with fiscal requirements while simplifying their checkout process.
