About the Backbone Catalog

Backbone Catalog converts supplier PDF catalogs into Shopify products using AI technology. Upload your PDF catalog and the AI automatically extracts products, variants, and specifications from each page. Review everything side-by-side before publishing to your storefront. When suppliers send updated catalog versions, simply re-upload the new PDF. The app compares it against the previous version and syncs changes to your existing Shopify products automatically. Works with tabular layouts, multi-page configurators, modular compositions, visual indexes, and look books commonly used in wholesale catalogs. Built-in features include multi-currency support, wholesale discounts, and retail markup calculations. You can bring your own Anthropic API key for direct AI access. Edit and approve every product detail before it goes live on your store.
