About the ISBN Book Importer Pro
ISBN Book Importer Pro helps bookstore owners add books to their Shopify catalog without manual data entry. Simply enter an ISBN and the app automatically fetches book metadata including title, author, cover image, description, and publisher information from multiple book databases.
Each imported book becomes a draft product with the cover image already attached, ISBN-13 set as both SKU and barcode, and complete product details ready for review. The editable preview lets you adjust any metadata before publishing. Built-in duplicate detection checks your existing catalog to prevent adding the same book twice.
The app works directly from Shopify POS with an integrated barcode scanner, making it easy to add inventory from behind the counter. A configurable book details block displays ISBN, authors, and other information on your storefront product pages.
