About the OrderSignal ‑ Fraud Detection

OrderSignal monitors every incoming order in real time and detects suspicious orders the moment they arrive. The app flags potentially fraudulent transactions based on configurable detection rules you set up to match your store's normal order patterns. Flagged orders are automatically tagged directly in Shopify and displayed in a built-in review dashboard inside your admin. You can detect orders that exceed your value threshold, first-time customers making unusually large purchases, bulk quantities of single items, high total item counts, and mismatches between billing and shipping countries. The app uses Shopify webhooks for real-time order monitoring and offers five configurable detection rules with custom thresholds. Each rule can be enabled or disabled independently, giving you full control over your fraud detection system. All suspicious orders receive automatic order tagging for easy identification and review.
