About the Consently Cookie Consent GDPR

Consently adds a cookie consent banner to your Shopify store that automatically matches your theme design. The app helps you comply with GDPR and CCPA requirements by blocking third-party trackers until visitors give consent. Visitors can choose to accept, reject, or customize their preferences, and every choice is recorded and sent to Google Consent Mode v2 and Shopify's Customer Privacy API. The banner auto-detects visitor regions to show the right consent options for EU and California customers. It honors Global Privacy Control and only runs analytics and marketing tags after visitors opt in. You can customize colors, layout, and text, and choose between bar, box, or popup styles. The built-in cookie scanner shows which trackers load on your storefront. No coding required to install.
