About the WRIT Spending Controls
WRIT Spending Controls adds budget management to Shopify B2B by letting you set spending caps for buyer organizations. Create per-company, per-location, or per-buyer limits that automatically reset monthly, quarterly, annually, or stay fixed as a one-time pool. When multiple budgets apply, the most restrictive limit always wins. The app blocks checkouts when orders exceed remaining budgets (Hard mode) or displays warnings (Soft mode) for tracking purposes. Since native Shopify B2B offers quantity rules and payment terms but lacks cumulative spend controls, WRIT fills this gap by enforcing budget limits directly at checkout.
