About the WRIT Contract Gate

WRIT Contract Gate automatically blocks B2B checkout when a company's trade contract has expired or isn't active yet. Shopify's native B2B allows negotiated contract pricing and payment terms per company, but doesn't enforce contract validity windows. This app closes that gap by letting you set contract start and expiry dates for each B2B company, then enforcing them at checkout with a clear message to buyers. Run in visibility mode first to audit your contracts, then switch to enforcement. The app uses a Shopify Function at real checkout, never affects retail or unmanaged buyers, and charges zero commission—just one flat price. Includes CSV import, Shopify sync, and an expiry worklist to warn you before contracts lapse.
