Silens displays a cookie consent banner to visitors and records their choices directly through Shopify's Customer Privacy API, keeping all consent data within your store. The app automatically blocks known trackers until visitors give consent, requiring no theme code modifications.
It sends consent signals to Google Consent Mode v2, Meta, Pinterest, Microsoft Ads, and Clarity so your measurement and analytics continue working properly. The built-in theme scan identifies hard-coded trackers in your store, showing exactly which file and line number they appear on.
The consent banner supports four cookie categories and automatically translates into six languages based on each visitor's preference. No visitor data is stored externally—everything stays within Shopify's privacy system.
