About the SecureBite API Proxy
SecureBite API Proxy protects your Shopify store by hiding API keys from your storefront. Instead of exposing secret keys in your page source, this app proxies third-party API requests through a secure server.
Create proxy routes directly in the admin to call any HTTPS API safely. Your API keys and headers are injected server-side, keeping them completely hidden from the storefront code. You define the full request body within the app rather than your theme, so only approved variables get sent through.
Built on Cloudflare's global edge network for reliable performance. The app includes a built-in Theme Scan feature that checks your live theme for any hardcoded keys that might be exposed. If you discover exposed keys and need help securing them, the support team offers developer assistance to fix the issue.
