Acerca de Option Guard: Product Options
This product customizer adds colour swatches, image swatches, text fields, and dropdowns to your products. Built with a theme app extension, your product options stay in place even when you update your theme—they won't disappear after installation.
Create swatches using hex codes or upload your own product photos. Set required options that are enforced at checkout by Shopify functions running on Shopify's servers, covering Shop Pay and Apple Pay. The system fails open, so technical issues never block a sale.
Every order gets audited automatically. If an order arrives without a required value, you'll receive an alert that names the issue and links directly to it. Add character limits, placeholder text, and dropdown choices to customize the shopping experience. The app also checks that the block is present in your published theme, keeping everything working smoothly.
