About the MarginGuard ‑ Tariff Alerts
Tariffs and duty rates change without warning, and when they do, your product margins can quietly slip below target. MarginGuard monitors US and EU duty schedules—including USITC HTS, Section 301, 232, 122, and EU TARIC—to calculate the real import duty for each SKU based on its HS code, origin, and unit cost. When a rate change pushes a product under your margin threshold, you receive an email alert with the affected SKUs and the exact price needed to recover your target margin. The app is advisory and read-only, so it never modifies your prices automatically.
