Margin Proof protects your profit by blocking checkout when discount codes would sell products below your minimum margin. The app validates every discounted order against your COGS data in real time, preventing stacked promos and generous discounts from quietly creating losses.
Set one minimum net margin rule and the checkout validation activates automatically. Import your COGS from Shopify, upload via CSV, or enter manually—all data syncs to metafields. The dashboard displays the maximum safe discount for each product, showing your most at-risk items first so you can adjust pricing strategy.
Customers who trigger the margin threshold simply remove their discount code to complete their purchase. Products without COGS data never block legitimate sales, ensuring the app fails open.
