About the HoldCart — Cart Reservation

HoldCart places real inventory holds on cart items the moment shoppers add them, preventing one-of-a-kind products from selling out during checkout. Unlike fake countdown timers, this app creates genuine inventory reservations that automatically release back to stock when time expires. The system is fail-safe by design—if anything goes wrong with HoldCart's servers, your checkout continues working normally since they're never in your checkout path. Shoppers see an honest countdown timer backed by actual holds, not manufactured urgency. When holds expire, items return to available stock automatically. You can disable the app with one click to safely revert all products before uninstalling.
