About the Handoff Digital Downloads
Handoff attaches digital files to your Shopify products and automatically sends download links when orders are paid. Buyers receive their files by email, on the thank you page, and on the order status page—no theme code changes required.
You control how long download links last and set the number of downloads allowed per file. All files stay in private storage, and customers only get short-lived signed URLs, so forwarded links expire automatically for security.
The Deliveries page shows every order in one place. You can re-send emails, extend link expiration times, or copy download links directly for customer support replies. Simple setup from your Shopify admin makes selling digital downloads easy and secure.
