Acerca de Fiscal ID Labs
Fiscal ID Labs adds a validated tax ID field to your cart page, cart drawer, and checkout—available on Basic, Shopify, and Advanced plans without needing Shopify Plus. Business buyers can enter their tax ID with real-time check-digit validation for Spain, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia, EU VAT, and 80+ countries including Brazil, Mexico, Italy, UK, and US.
The app saves tax IDs to order and customer metafields that work with any invoicing app. You can require the field always, only for invoice requests, or above a specific order amount. When validation is required, the app blocks checkout until a valid ID is entered. Orders missing valid tax IDs are automatically tagged so you can fix them before creating invoices. Buyers can select their country from the list, and the ID appears on the thank-you page and customer account for easy reference.
