About the CodShield ‑ COD Approval

CodShield confirms cash on delivery orders after checkout using WhatsApp verification. Each COD order gets a risk score and appears in one approval queue where you can review order value, fulfillment holds, and deposit requirements. Set COD rules by order value at checkout: allow automatically, require confirmation, request deposits with proof uploaded to Shopify Files, or hide the COD option entirely. The checkout validates phone numbers, displays COD fee labels, and bypasses confirmation rules for repeat buyers. Import courier RTO CSVs to automatically score phone numbers with return history. Block problem customers before they order again. Auto-cancel blocked orders and unanswered confirmations, send WhatsApp reminders to customers, and recover abandoned checkouts through WhatsApp follow-ups. Customer replies on WhatsApp update directly in your Shopify Admin Orders queue, so you see confirmation status without switching platforms.
