About the TrueTag: Verify & Warranty

TrueTag helps you verify genuine products and manage warranty records with unique QR codes for every unit. Since Shopify tracks SKU quantity but not individual units, customers can't confirm authenticity or access per-unit warranty information. This app solves that problem by letting you mark products as serialized—each unit gets its own serial number and QR code, automatically assigned at order fulfillment or created in bulk. When customers scan the QR code, they see a branded verification page that confirms the product is genuine and displays warranty status and expiry. No app or login required. The public page protects buyer privacy by never showing customer information. You can flag counterfeit scans when serials weren't issued by you or when one code appears in multiple locations. Look up any serial to check its product details, warranty coverage, and complete scan history.
