About the PoolSync: Shared Inventory

PoolSync prevents overselling when your Shopify variants share the same physical inventory. Instead of manually adjusting quantities across multiple variants, this app creates inventory pools that sync automatically in real-time. Set up consumption multipliers for different product sizes—for example, a 1oz variant consumes 1 unit while a 4oz variant consumes 4 units from the same pool. When orders come in, inventory deducts from the pool and updates all linked variants instantly. Refunds and cancellations restore stock automatically. The pool health dashboard shows sync status and quantities at a glance with warnings when needed. Hourly reconciliation detects discrepancies you can fix in one click.
