About the PerishShield

PerishShield protects your perishable products by monitoring weather conditions along shipping routes. The app automatically checks temperature forecasts at both origin and destination points, comparing them against the limits you set for your perishable orders. When temperature risks are detected, orders are flagged with clear badges—Safe, Caution, Warning, or Critical—and tagged accordingly. At-risk shipments can be placed on automatic fulfillment hold, giving you time to review and release them with one click before they spoil in transit. You can assign products to custom temperature categories and set your own thresholds. The app re-checks open orders on your schedule as forecasts change, ensuring continuous protection. Everything runs quietly in your Shopify admin with no storefront changes or checkout modifications—your customers never see it.
