PageKeeper prevents confusing 404 errors when you delete or discontinue products from your store. The app automatically saves product snapshots whenever items are created or updated in Shopify. When a product gets deleted, it redirects the old product URL to a branded rescue page that shows the saved product details and explains the item is no longer available. This helps preserve product context and guides customers back to your store instead of losing them to dead links. Monitor all protected products, track redirects and failures, and retry any failed redirects directly from the dashboard.
