Über MT: Stock Count & Scan

MT: Stock Count & Scan turns any phone into an inventory counting device. Scan barcodes with your phone camera, type SKUs manually, or use USB and Bluetooth scanners. Multiple people can count the same session simultaneously, with every scan logged and undoable. Start a count for one location and choose your scope: everything, or filter by collection, vendor, tag, product type, or saved zone. Expected quantities freeze when counting starts. If stock changes in Shopify during your count, that variant gets flagged and excluded until you recount it. Open the full-screen scanner by pointing your phone at a QR code—no app installation or login required. Barcodes are decoded on your device, and scans stay on the phone when Wi-Fi drops in the stockroom, then sync when the network returns. Two modes handle daily tasks: count stock (scanned quantity replaces current) and add to stock (scanned quantity adds to current) for deliveries and returns. The review page shows discrepancies, variants not counted, and unknown barcodes before you apply changes. Choose whether uncounted variants stay unchanged for partial counts or set to zero for full inventory. Adjustments apply in one click with the reason "Cycle count." Nothing writes to Shopify until you press Apply. Every count creates a printable report and CSV. The Shrinkage page tracks products that consistently come up short with their value at cost. Works with any theme since nothing touches your storefront. No POS Pro required. Camera scanning needs recent Chrome or Safari on a phone; manual entry works everywhere.
