About the Masterfile

Masterfile is designed specifically for comic retailers running their Shopify stores. The app syncs daily with PRH and Lunar distributor catalogs, automatically creating products with complete COMET metadata, creator credits, and cover variants while keeping prices and release dates up to date. Customers can pre-order upcoming comic issues and subscribe to ongoing series. Each pre-order and subscription commitment feeds into a draft distributor order that you can review and export weekly by FOC date. The searchable storefront catalog includes deep filtering across all COMET metadata fields. The app also lets you publish digital collector's editions with guided panel-by-panel reading, scrolls, layered artwork, music, and attachments. Buyers access their purchases in a personal library. Masterfile handles the complete workflow from catalog management to pre-orders, subscriptions, and digital comics distribution.
