Shopify stops running Additional scripts on thank-you and order status pages on August 26, 2026. When that happens, your purchase tracking tags stop firing without warning, and your ad numbers go flat.
Holdfast fixes this by scanning your Additional scripts box and rebuilding your GA4, Meta and TikTok purchase tags as official Web Pixels. Your checkout pixel tracking keeps working exactly as it should.
For GA4, you also get server-side tracking sent directly from your store, not the browser. This means orders get recorded even if the browser fails to fire. Only one copy counts, so there's no duplicate data.
The app shows you exactly which pixels it found in your scripts and lists other trackers with clear instructions on what to do next. Meta and TikTok tracking sends from the checkout pixel only, keeping everything clean and compliant with Shopify's new requirements.
