Halt stops card-testing bots before they charge stolen cards through your checkout. Card testing happens when bots run through stolen card numbers to find working ones, and each attempt costs you a card fee that refunds don't recover. This app checks every checkout and blocks repeat attempts using the same email, address, or phone within a day. Customers who've ordered before are never stopped. Works on all Shopify stores including Basic, with no checkout modifications needed. Starts in watch mode so you can see what would be blocked first. Includes a bait product feature that traps bots without affecting logged-in customers, plus email alerts when attacks start and daily summaries during busy periods.
