About the Faktwise ‑ E‑Invoice & GoBD

Faktwise helps German Shopify merchants comply with the upcoming e-invoice mandate. From January 2027, larger businesses must issue structured e-invoices, and from 2028 all German businesses must follow. Simple PDF invoices won't meet the legal requirements anymore. This app automatically creates compliant ZUGFeRD 2.4 and XRechnung 3.0.2 e-invoices for every paid order. Each invoice includes correct EU VAT treatment for domestic sales, intra-EU B2B transactions, OSS, exports, and the German small business scheme. You get sequential numbering, proper legal wording, and automatic credit notes when refunds happen. All invoices are validated against official standards and archived for ten years following GoBD requirements. You can export everything for your accountant, ensuring your store is ready for Germany's 2027/2028 e-invoicing mandate.
