EZ Layaway brings layaway payment options directly into your Shopify Plus checkout, letting customers reserve products and pay over time. Merchants control which products are eligible through per-product programs, setting custom deposit amounts, payment schedules, and term lengths for each SKU or collection. The app manages the entire layaway process through automated infrastructure. Scheduled charges run automatically, customer payment reminders go out on time, and failed payments trigger retries. When customers complete their final installment, orders release to fulfillment automatically. Cancellations and refunds are handled within the system. Built specifically for Shopify Plus using Checkout Extensibility, layaway appears as a native payment option at checkout.
